WHAT IS REWIND SLITTING?
In the process of rewind slitting, the mother roll or jumbo roll is unwound and passed through the machine, where it undergoes cutting via knives or lasers, before being rewound onto one or more shafts to create narrower and/or shorter rolls. These resulting narrow strips of material are often referred to as 'mults' (short for 'multiple') or rolls.
